Materials and Chemical Engineering (M. Eng.)

This program features interdisciplinary integration of materials science, chemical engineering, energy technology, environmental science, offering comprehensive theoretical and engineering practical abilities in areas such as advanced material design and synthesis, green chemical process development, and high-end characterization and performance evaluation. The discipline has a strong faculty team, currently comprising 75 full-time teachers, including 10 professors and 21 associate professors. Among them, 58 teachers hold doctoral degrees, accounting for 77.3% of the faculty. The faculty forms a well-structured, industry-academia-research integrated high-level teaching team.

Program Educational Objectives:
With a focus on cultivating expertise in new energy materials, polymer functional materials, and high-value utilization of biomass resources, the program is dedicated to developing high-level engineering and management professionals with solid theoretical foundations, innovative capabilities, and industrial vision. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue careers in industries such as new energy, advanced materials, green chemistry, biomanufacturing, and energy conservation, as well as in research institutions, testing organizations, and higher education institutions, engaging in technical research and development, process design, production management, quality control, and engineering consulting, and other related work.
