Resources and Environment (M.Eng.

This program is an emerging interdisciplinary field integrating multiple disciplines such as environmental science, resource engineering, ecology, geographic information, chemistry, and management. It encompasses professional theories and engineering practice skills in areas including efficient resource utilization, environmental pollution prevention and control, and green and low-carbon technologies. Currently, the program has 34 full-time teachers, with 30 holding doctoral degrees, accounting for 88.2% of the faculty.

Program Educational Objectives:
This program specializes in resource recycling, clean production, environmental monitoring and remediation technologies, and carbon neutrality with system management. It cultivates  interdisciplinary professionals with integrated innovation capabilities in resource and environmental fields. Graduates are well-positioned to work in strategic emerging sectors and key industries such as natural resource management, ecological conservation, energy and chemical engineering, and agro-forestry ecology. They can also pursue careers in universities, research institutes, and government agencies, engaging in technical R&D, engineering design and operations, planning management, policy research, and monitoring and evaluation.
