This program is a provincial first-class undergraduate program in Zhejiang Province. It supports the development of the Master of Agriculture program and the Smart Agriculture Micro Program at Lishui University. The program has 81 full-time faculty members, including 40 professors and associate professors, 60 doctoral degree holders, and 53 master’s supervisors. More than 20 teaching and research teams have been established, forming a distinctive and solid disciplinary foundation that provides sufficient conditions and strong support for cultivating high-quality New Agricultural Talents.
Anchored in the national rural revitalization strategy and the ecological resources of the mountainous regions in southwestern Zhejiang, the program upholds the educational philosophy of solid foundation, strong practical competence, emphasis on innovation, and interdisciplinary integration. It aims to cultivate versatile applied talents with well-rounded moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor development. Graduates will have a solid theoretical foundation in horticulture, strong practical skills and interdisciplinary competence, enabling them to conduct scientific research, teaching, production and management in smart horticulture, wellness horticulture, the green health industry and related fields.

Graduates ranked in the top 50% academically will be eligible for priority admission to the university’s Master of Agriculture program in Resource Utilization and Plant Protection.
